Is the Name of a 2019 RAND Corporation Report. More Fully: Extending Russia, Competing from Advantageous Ground. It’s Quite a Read. Lengthy, but Easily Digestible.

The Purpose of the Document is to “examine a range of possible means to extend Russia. By this, we mean nonviolent measures that could stress Russia’s military or economy or the regime’s political standing at home and abroad. The steps we posit would not have either defense or deterrence as their prime purpose, although they might contribute to both. Rather, these steps are conceived of as measures that would lead Russia to compete in domains or regions where the United States has a competitive advantage, causing Russia to overextend itself militarily or economically or causing the regime to lose domestic and/or international prestige and influence.”

What are these “possible means to extend Russia?”

Let’s Start With “Economic Measures.” With Russia’s Economy So Tied to Oil and Gas Exports…Reduce Those Exports…Via Sanctions…Stopping Pipeline Expansions….Such as Nord Stream 2. Check.

Geopolitical Measures? Stir Up Trouble in the Southern Caucasus. Increase Support of Sunni Extremists in Syria…Al Qaeda, ISIS. Regime Change in Belarus…because Lukashenko is friendly to Russia…though it might be tough as Lukashenko is Very Popular.  The Geopolitical Measure Projected to Have the Highest Likelihood of Success? Provide Lethal Aid to Ukraine. Check. Hmm.

Ideological and Informational Measures? What’s That You Say? Regime Change in Russia. Also, Pretty Fucking Tough…as Putin is Wildly Popular.

Air and Space Measures? Reignite the Cold War. Let’s Go Bigger re: Nukes.

Maritime Measures? Probably a waste of time. Putin’s too smart to be tricked into aggressively investing in Russia’s Navy.

How about Land and Multidomain Measures? Like What? Withdraw from the INF Treaty …Trump Did. Check. More US and NATO Troops in Europe. Ramp Up NATO Exercises in Europe. Invest in New Shit Intended to Make Russia Feel Vulnerable.

With McConnell Targeting US Approval of Sweden’s and Finland’s NATO Bids by August, the Fuse Is Lit. Putin Is Doing His Best…Not to Take the Bait. But He Knows…as Should We…That Once Finland and Sweden Join NATO, They Become Vassals of the US MIC. A Very Aggressive US MIC, Explicitly Calling for Military Defeat of Russia, Regime Change in Russia.

What is Putin to do? Neither Sweden nor Finland Threaten Russia. And While Neither Sweden Nor Finland Would Attack Russia…the US Would. Look at a Map. See Nord Stream 2. In the Context of Finland and Sweden. Belarus and Ukraine Would Remain the Only Non-NATO Borders with Most of Europe.

The US MIC Will Keep Going Until and Unless Stopped. They’ll Use Their Death Grip on Mainstream Media and Tech to Flood the World With Hollow Propaganda. The Fact that Most of the World…and a Large and Growing Percentage of America…See Through the Bullshit? Doesn’t Matter to Them. They’re All About Force. Globally, Domestically.
